Siberian Tiger Foundation
The siberian tiger foundation will have information on conservation and hunting.
These cats are listed as endangered species and if there were about 100000 representatives a century ago now there are only 5000 species left in the wild. These animals are protected in every country except Myanmar, where the illegal traffic in their parts continues. However, even in those countries where laws are hard on poachers, the killing is still under way. For this reason, the number of these animals continues to decrease, and we are running the risk of not seeing such an animal in another 20-30 years.

Siberian Tiger Foundation -
conservation, hunting
The main threats for these cats are the loss of the habitat, poaching, decrease in their prey because of human population pressure and so on. As these species live in forests and this is a usual environment for them, deforestation also leads to the decrease of their population. As their home ranges become dissected, they have to inbreed, and this results in serious breeding depressions. Lack of their regular prey may prompt them to attack humans, and now there is an increased amount of reports about man-killing felines hurling themselves at people. The siberian tiger foundation will have information on conservation and hunting.
