Muntjac
Muntjac animals are secretive and keep their babies well hidden, which makes it very difficult to get pictures of them.
These animals originated from China. They are now the smallest deer living in the wild in Britain. This is a secretive animal, preferring to live in low shrubby areas, occasionally finding suitable habitat in large gardens. These territorial animals may be seen in family groups of three or four.

Dark facial markings are distinctive.
