Mountain Lions
Mountain lions sometimes kill the cow or goat baby on the farm.
These wild cats are also known as pumas, cougars and panthers. They live in many different types of habitat form Canada to Argentina. Home range of an adult male often spans over 100 square miles. Females usually have smaller territories.

Also called Cougar, Panther, Puma, Painter, Catamount.
Females are able to breed at the age of two years and a half. These wild felines live for 12 years in the wild and up to 25 years in captivity. They are secretive carnivores preying mostly on deer and other smaller animals. Mountain lions sometimes kill the cow or goat baby on the farm.
