Labradoodle

This breed is a cross between the Standard Poodle and the Labrador Retriever. Wally Cochran first started this cross breed in Australia in the 1970s. The breed was prompted to do this by a blind woman who suffered from allergies to dogs. And after a long and difficult search for a suitable Standard Poodle, Harley (the Standard Poodle) was mated with Brandy (the female Labrador Retriever) and it was the beginning of a new breed. This breed is a great combination of the affectionate nature, intelligence and devotion. Due to these qualities, the popularity of the breed soared immediately after it was introduced to the public.
