Good Guinea Pet Pig
A good guinea pet pig from a breeder or guinea hen chicks from an aviary are usually found online.
These are hystricomorph rodents (related to chinchillas and porcupines) that are believed to stem from Andes Mountains region of South America. Indians of Peru are believed to be the first to domesticate them. They probably used them for food and as sacrificial offerings to their gods. In the 16th century, dutch explorers brought these animals to Europe, and selective breeding and captive rearing began. Nowadays, they are used as companions. They have relatively large litters of about 3-4 young on the average.
