Coton De Tulear Rescue

These creatures are very friendly, gentle, affectionate, and alert. They are very sociable and get along well with children, other hounds and animals. The breed was created form the extinct now Tenerife breed. The hounds are 10-12 inches (25-30 cm.) high and weigh 12-15 pounds (5.5-7 kg.).

The breed is also known as the Royal Dog of Madagascar and they are beautifully proportioned; though the dogs are small they are barkers and serve as watchdogs.
