A chinchilla breeder may have other rodents too; some breeders like to branch out.
Their coat is soft and dense and silver-gray. The length of head and body is 10 inches and the tail is an additional 7 inches. Their weight is about a little over one pound. Females are larger than males and can be rather aggressive to each other.
