Sand Boa
A sand boa baby can be obtained from a special farm.
Digestive problems the serpents may have are easy to treat when caught early. Respiratory infections characterized by open mouthed breathing and bubbling nostrils are cured by simply raising the temperature. Fleas are removed by good cleaning; the serpent mites are very small and hard to see, they can be killed with special treatment.

Sand Boa -
baby, farm
In the wild the serpents feed on a variety of prey – amphibians, lizards, birds, mammals, and other snakes. In captivity they should be fed pre-killed rodents and, when adults, rabbits and chicken. At pet stores there are specially raised, healthy, and well-nourished animals. A sand boa baby can be obtained from a special farm.
