The asian spotted leopard is sometimes found on a sanctuary farm and is illegal for hunting.
These animals had to become very adaptable as they were killed by the lions and tigers. Besides hyenas and wild dogs often stole their food. That’s why this cat avoids competing with them by having a wider diet, hunting at different places; and if in the same place, at different times.

This medium size of the animal helps it to explore a wide range of habitats. Although this is a small animal it is strong: its massive skull has ample room for attachment of powerful jaw muscles.
